I’ve partnered with Chameleon to create this Coffee Cold-Brew Protein Smoothie Recipe.
My best mornings usually involve cold-brew and a protein smoothie, so I finally decided why not combine the two and have a coffee cold-brew protein smoothie in the morning to start the day off right?! I’m excited to share my coffee cold-brew protein smoothie recipe with you today, made with Chameleon cold-brew concentrate, frozen banana, your milk of choice, cocoa powder, nut butter of choice, your favorite protein powder and optional add-ins like bee pollan, chia seeds.
The difference between a good protein shake and a bad protein shake is in the ratio… too much banana will make it too sweet, too much milk makes it seem watered down, and too much cold-brew makes the flavor too strong. I’ve been making this smoothie for a while and am sharing my tried and true ratios with you!
To make one morning protein shake start out by adding one large frozen banana, 1/2 T cocoa powder, 1 T protein powder, and 1/2 T of your favorite nut butter (my fave is almond butter).
Next add your cold-brew mixture. Chameleon Cold-Brew Concentrate is meant to be mixed in a ratio of 1:1, so mix 4 oz of milk with 4 oz vanilla cold-brew concentrate, and add to blender.
You can also add in a pinch of bee pollan and 1/2 teaspoon chia seeds.
Blend until it is a smooth consistency. If it seems a little watery add a few cubes of ice. If it is too thick add a splash of milk.
That’s it! Enjoy your cold-brew smoothie!

** Sometimes I double this recipe and freeze in reusable popsicle molds so I can have a protein + caffeine pick me up without having to get out my blender.
