Sometimes simple is best! This easy peach cobbler recipe adapted from the Just Peachy cookbook by Belinda Smith-Sullivan is so easy and the perfect dessert during summer, topped with some fresh vanilla ice cream.
Ingredients for Easy Peach Cobbler
Pantry baking Essentials including flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, butter and eggs.
Peaches are the star of this cobbler! Any peaches will do; I used white peaches that my family and I recently picked at a local farm. The original recipes calls for peeling the peaches, but I like to keep mine in the cobbler as it is less work, less waste, and in my opinion still tastes amazing!
Vanilla Ice Cream is an optional addition to this easy peach cobbler recipe, but a big scoop is delicious final touch!
How to Make Easy Peach Cobbler
To make this cobbler, first preheat your oven to 350F. Mix together the dry ingredients which includes flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add eggs, one at a time and knead into the dough until it is combined and crumbly in texture. Set aside.
Next, core and peel your peaches and fill up your 10″ baking pan about two thirds full. This was about 10 large peaches for me, but depending on the size of your peaches and baking dish you might need more or less.
Finally, top peaches with the crumble mixture and pour melted butter over the top. Bake in oven for about 40 minutes, or until bubbly and browning.
Let cool at least slightly, and enjoy! It is great paired with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream!
