Ingredients For Acai Bowl Recipe
Acai You can find these frozen packets at most grocery stores in the freezer section. I get mine at Trader Joe’s usually. I always buy the unsweetened version.
(Frozen) Banana I always use a frozen banana but if you only have a fresh banana and don’t want to wait for it to freeze that’s fine, just add a little ice if needed for consistency.
Frozen Berries/Fruit I like to add frozen strawberries and blueberries typically, but you can add whatever fruit you like, peaches, cherries, raspberries, etc. You can play around with flavors.
Coconut Water try to get a brand that has no added sweeteners or weird ingredients.
Toppings
Fruit sliced bananas, fresh strawberries, blueberries, and whatever fresh fruit you have on hand.
Granola you can use a homemade granola or a store-bought kind. It adds a nice crunch!
Extras like chia seeds, flax seeds or ground flax, cocao nibs, coconut flakes, and a drizzle of honey. You can customize your acai bowl however you like!
