Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus You Need To Make This Spring

Prosciutto wrapped asparagus is a simple and delicious spring appetizer. All you need is asparagus, cheese and prosciutto!

I don’t know about you, but once asparagus season hits I get so excited I want to eat it in everything from soups, to pizzas, to quiches. I think my very favorite way to eat asparagus is wrapped is prosciutto wrapped asparagus with a little bit of provolone cheese, or any melty cheese really!

I love that it is such a simple recipe too- all you need to do is wrap a small bundle of delicate asparagus with a small slice of provolone cheese and prosciutto, pop it in the oven on the broiling setting for 1-2 minutes on each side, and you have yourself a melty, salty, delicious spring appetizer or side. It is quick to put together, simple and tastes delicious. I created a video for you that shows how to make them during asparagus season. Enjoy!

This has become one of my favorite go to sides and appetizers. It is so simple and delicious. It is perfect as an appetizer, a side for holidays like Easter, or even a side with any family dinner. Even my kids love these bundles of deliciousness. While I love the provolone in this recipe you can definitely play around with substituting other melty cheeses- you really can’t go wrong!
