This golden milk coconut popsicle recipe is a refreshing twist on your classic golden milk latte. Ingredients include coconut milk, almond milk, honey, ginger, turmeric and black pepper. The ingredients offer many potential benefits such as reducing inflammation, boosting immune system, and adding antioxidants to your diet.
Ingredients for Golden Milk Coconut Popsicle Recipe
Coconut Milk is the dairy-free and vegan creamy base for this recipe and adds amazing coconut flavor.
Almond Milk is a dairy free and vegan milk that offers vitamin E, vitamin D and calcium.
Turmeric provides a vibrant golden yellow color and distinct flavor. Turmeric is a member of the ginger family and the plant is known for its healing properties such as its anti-inflammatory effect and positive effect on cholesterol.
Black Pepper provides piperine, a compound that works with the curcumin in turmeric to enhance absorption in the body.
Ginger adds a nice kick of flavor and nutritional benefits.
Honey sweetens the popsicles and you can add more or less depending on your taste.
You will also need a popsicle mold that makes 12 3 oz popsicles, a blender, and popsicle sticks. This is my favorite popsicle mold because I love that it is easy to push the popsicles out of the mold and I love the cover that keeps the popsicle sticks in place. You will also need popsicle sticks.Â
How to:Â Golden Milk Coconut Popsicle Recipe
Simply add coconut milk, almond milk, ginger, turmeric, black pepper and honey to your blender. Blend until well combined, and the honey is no longer sticking to the bottom. Have a taste and adjust honey amount if needed. Pour into popsicle mold and add popsicle sticks. Freeze overnight or until fully frozen. Remove frozen popsicles from popsicle mold and enjoy!
