Today I have a Whole30 Meal Plan plus Shopping List for you. Have you done paleo/whole30 before? What are your thoughts? I did it once, or shall I say I attempted it once and lasted about 14 days or so. I’m probably not going to commit to Whole30 again but I do like to make recipes from the Whole 30 philosophy from time to time, hence this meal plan with my Whole30 taco salad, a sweet potato quiche, grilled chicken with pineapple avocado salsa, paleo greek chicken salad and salmon with avocado salsa. Have a great week and enjoy eating the Rainbow with these Whole30 recipes! Click here for this week’s Whole30 Meal Plan Grocery List.
Whole30 Meal Plan plus Shopping List
Taco Salad from Rainbow Delicious
Prep Time: 10 minutes Cookie Time: 20 minutes Total Time: 30 minutes
Ingredients: romaine lettuce, tomatoes, avocados, red onion, cilantro, limes, olive oil, ground beef, onion, garlic, cumin, chili powder, coriander, salt and pepper.
I love taco salads and this is one of my popular recipes on pinterest. You can totally switch up this recipe by adding whatever veggies you are craving or have on hand.
Sweet Potato Crusted Spinach and Sausage Quiche
Prep Time: 20 minutes Cookie Time: 1 hour 20 minutes Total Time: 1 hour 40 minutes
Ingredients: sausage (chorizo or other), sweet potatoes, eggs, cooking fat (olive oil), water, spinach, sea salt, ground pepper, basil.
This quiche is a little bit of a labor of love but it was good. I think the recipe overestimates how much sweet potato you will need or maybe my sweet potatoes were larger than average, we only used two instead of four. Also, we made two different quiches in casserole dishes instead of one in a large skillet. In one we used sausage like the recipe recommends and in the other we used caramelized onions as a substitution.
Grilled Chicken with Avocado Salsa on ALDI
{recipe created by Ali of Gimme Some Oven}
Prep Time: 10 minutes Cookie Time: 10 minutes Total Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients: pineapple, cilantro, avocado, jalapeno, red onion, lime juice, salt, cumin, pepper, chicken breasts, olive oil.
This recipe comes together quickly and has great flavor. We all loved it and I think we’ll keep this recipe on hand for nights that I want to use the grill.
Paleo Greek Chicken Salad from Fed and Fit
Prep Time: 20 minutes Cookie Time: 10 minutes Total Time: 30 minutes
Ingredients: white wine vinegar, olive oil, crushed capers (optiona), lemon, greek seasoning, salt, pepper, chicken tenders, skewers, romaine lettuce, tomato, cucumber, purple onion, kalamata olives, pepperoncini (optional)
This Greek salad was so full of flavor that I almost didn’t miss having cheese in it, almost. I left out the capers and pepperoncinis and used white balsamic instead of white wine vinegar because it was what I had on hand. If you marinade the chicken ahead of time this salad can come together in a jiffy.
Salmon with Avocado Salsa from The Cookie Rookie
Prep Time: 35 minutes Cookie Time: 5 minutes Total Time: 40 minutes
Ingredients: salmon, olive oil, salt, cumin, paprika, onion, ancho chili powder, black pepper, avocado, red onion, lime, cilantro, salt.
I don’t know why I don’t eat salmon more often, especially cooked on the grill… it is so delicious! I love the seasonings on this salmon and the salsa is great too. In fact, we tripled the salsa proportions (we love avocado in this house!) and still felt like we could have used more. This meal comes together quickly, especially if you already have the salmon rubbed with spices ahead of time.

we just finished our first Whole30 on Friday and it was life changing. We will still have occasional bread/cheese but the sugar and soda are out of our lives. The first 4 days were hard but the rest was a breeze. I lost 11.5 pounds. Good luck to you!
That’s my favorite thing about whole30… how it helps cut out sugar. Congratulations on the weight loss and healthy life changes, Melissa!
This menu and shopping list is such a time saver. My whole family will love these recipes.
Thanks so much Leslie, have a great week!
I’m like you, I never really did a Whole30 but I like to cook Whole30 style meals sometimes. All these recipes sound delish, thanks for the inspiration Emily!
Sounds like we are totally on the same page. Thanks for your kind words Marie!
I love that you made a shopping list. That makes your meal plan so easy to follow.
Thanks Sandi! I started making them for myself and I thought I’d share for others who struggle with meal planning and grocery shopping lists!
Wow! this meal plan looks absolutely worthy. I think i will include some vegan recipes in this and it would perfectly suit my requirements. I love that you have a shopping list added to the meal plan. It makes a lot easier.
Some vegan additions sound wonderful! Thanks Gunjan!
I have never done whole30, but after several months of holidays and visitors I am definitely in need of some healthy eating and self loving.
This sounds so great, and the food looks lovely. Especially the Grilled Chicken with Avocado Salsa. YUM!!!
Doesn’t that grilled chicken with pineapple avocado salsa look droolworthy? I hope you make it!
