Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon matcha powder
  • 1 tablespoon honey or to taste
  • 1 small lemon, juiced about two tablespoons
  • water

Instructions

  1. Heat at least 1/3 cup water in your tea kettle until boiling.

  2. In a small bowl add 1 teaspoon of matcha powder, 1 tablespoon of honey and about 1/4 cup of hot water.

  4. Fill a 16 oz cup with ice.

  5. Squeeze the juice of 1/2 lemon, about 1 tablespoon, over the ice.

  6. Add the matcha honey mixture.

  7. Fill with water to about 1 inch below the top of your glass. Stir to combine. Taste, and add juice from the other lemon half, up to one more tablespoon, or to taste. Drink up!
