Ingredients

  • 1 16 oz can refried beans
  • 1 16 oz container pre-made guacamole I like the kind at Trader Joes
  • 1 16 oz tub sour cream I like the organic version from Trader Joes
  • 1 16 oz jar salsa
  • 1 12 oz container shredded cheese
  • 1-2 2.25 jar sliced olives
  • 1 bunch green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. On large platter spread the refried beans into an even layer using a spatula.

  2. Next make an even layer of guacamole.

  3. Mix up the sour cream in its original tub so it is less firm. Gently spoon sour cream on top of guacamole to make an even layer. This is the trickiest layer and doesn't look that pretty, but don't worry you are going to cover it in the next step.

  4. Gently pour salsa in an even layer over the first three layers.

  5. Add shredded cheese, sliced olives and green onion slices.

  6. Cover and chill until ready to enjoy. You can make this recipe ahead of time on the day you plan to serve it.

  7. Enjoy paired with tortilla chips, or veggie sticks.
