This large batch of slow cooker chicken noodle soup is the ultimate comfort food. Made with chicken, carrots, onions, celery, garlic, chicken bone broth, olive oil, noodles, lemon juice and herbs this soup is packed with flavor and nutrients.
Add chicken, onion, garlic, carrots, celery, olive oil, chicken bone broth, water, Italian herbs, celery seed, salt and pepper to your slow cooker. Give it a big stir, put the lid on and cook on low for 5-7 hours or until the chicken is fully cooked through and tender.
Take chicken out of the crockpot and let rest on a cutting board for ten minutes.
Add pasta to the slow cooker. Once chicken has rested for ten minutes, cut into bite sized pieces and add back into the slow cooker.
Add lemon juice and fresh herbs. Adjust salt and pepper as needed. If soup is too thick for your liking, feel free to add a little more bone broth or water.
This soup freezes well and makes great leftovers.
