Simple Country Recipes from Longbourn Farm

If you love homestyle comfort food than you will love this week’s meal plan with five simple country recipes from Longbourn Farm. The recipes use simple, whole food ingredients and the instructions are easy to follow.  Alli is the creator of Longbourn Farm and here is an introduction from her:

“I have always loved to be in the kitchen, I come from a family where home cooked meals were part of everyday life. Meal time was family time and I have loved carrying that tradition on in my own family! I live on a small farm with my husband and soon to be 2 kids where we enjoy every part of the laid back country lifestyle. I love to garden and we all love raising the animals. My formal education actually focused on animal science, health and nutrition, so I blog about my passion for simple home cooked food as well as how we do things here on the farm so readers can get the whole perspective. Currently, I am working on publishing more online courses. I have a getting started cooking course and a beginner chicken keeping course and can’t wait to add more!”

Simple Country Recipes from Longbourn Farm pan seared pork chopsPan Seared Pork from Longbourn Farm

Prep Time: 6 hours Cook Time: 20 minutes Total Time: 6 hours 20 minutes

Ingredients: olive oil, balsamic vinegar, honey, dijon, shallot, garlic, salt and pepper, pork chops, butter, parsley.

The marinade is what makes this recipe amazing so be sure to remember to let the chicken marinate for 6-24 hours before you plan to start cooking- I think doing the prep the night before is the easiest way to remember.
