It has been one year since I started Rainbow Delicious and it has been such a fun project for my whole family.
Doing the meal plans and coordinating grocery lists each week has forced me to get organized and in return my family and I have enjoyed over 200 new recipes together. I have become good friends with foodgawker and pinterest. I feel like I have become a better cook and challenged my palette and culinary skills. I have enjoyed connecting with readers and friends while bonding over our love of food and desire to eat delicious, nutritious and colorful food. I have started asking more questions about the produce I buy at the grocery store, farmer’s markets and through my local CSA. I have done a lot of dishes, and my husband Rick has done even more (Thanks Rick, I love you!)
All of this has made me realize how much left I have to learn and explore and has me wanting more! I want to learn more about food, try more amazing recipes, create recipes of my own and to share all of this with you.
And so this year on Rainbow Delicious I plan to grow this blog. I will still be doing Meal Plan Mondays and will be re-featuring some of last year’s favorite recipes. I will also be starting new series such as Foods by Color, Top 10, Guilty Pleasures, Recipes, and Ask Emily. I will be introducing these series shortly, so please stick around!
Thank you so much for following along on this blog; I hope it has been some benefit and inspiration to you!
I value your opinions on this blog and would love your feedback and suggestions:
Do you have any topics you would like me to specifically cover in upcoming blog posts?
Are there any specific foods you would like to learn more about & see featured in more recipes?
Do you have any recommendations for improving Meal Plan Mondays?
Do you have any questions for me that you would like me to address in future posts?
Thanks for reading and have a fabulous day!
